Typically, construction is the shortest phase of a project. However, 90% of the project's budget can be spent during that time on something that needs to last for generations. This is where REI's full-time, dedicated Construction Engineering Team, consisting of Registered Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Technicians adds tremendous value to your project.

You may ask yourself - "Why do I need to hire a Consultant during construction when I'm already paying a contractor to do the work?"

You, as an Owner, have invested a great deal of time and money in hiring a professional to prepare well thought out plans and detailed specifications. You have an obligation to your project and perhaps to taxpayers to make sure that your investment is properly managed and carried out. You want to make sure that, as the old adage goes, "you get what you pay for."

That is where REI's Construction Engineering Team comes into play. Construction engineering is one of the primary services offered by REI and as such, we employ very knowledgeable, experienced, and highly trained individuals within this department - people with common sense who have continually demonstrated the ability to work with project owners, regulatory agencies, and neighboring property owners.

Spend your TIME and your MONEY wisely

As a project owner and perhaps someone who doesn't have staff and/or equipment dedicated full time for construction inspection, you may be better off engaging the services of experienced "outside help". We are that "outside help". This can be to your benefit in that your organization will not be burdened with paying the salary and benefits of full-time staff once the project is completed. Additionally, we have up to date equipment that we can utilize during the inspection of your project that you would otherwise have to potentially purchase for a one time use.

We will provide full-time or scaled back construction project management and inspection that is appropriate for your project.
