24/7/365! Our spill response team is on the job when spills or releases of petroleum, non-hazardous and hazardous materials threaten public health, welfare or the environment.

Section 292.11 Wis. Statutes, also known as the "spills law," requires that a person who possess or controls a hazardous substance, which is discharged or who causes the discharge of a hazardous substance, immediately notify the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) of any release not exempted by law. Consequently, the release of these substances must be cleaned up to comply with state requirements.

REI's professional spill response services include:

  • Proper coordination of response with state agencies such as the WDNR and local agencies such as police, fire, highway and health departments
